Yo yo yo 2e1'09! Pei San here. Kinda obvious from the very bright and colourful post. Haha. Alright.. donno if Calvin will kill me for blogging here. But yeah. Haha! Alright.. we have been together for 2 years. It was not really a very long road... but a enjoyable one indeed. Yeah?

Well.. we have played together.. from toh tuck to bukit batok. Pissed off teachers and laugh about it.. and also apologized to each other once in a while. Well.. next year.. we are all spitting up. Hey hey.. chill chill.. don't cry.. we will see each other in school yeah? Haha. Yeah.. smile! Alright.. for those going to 8 sub classes or like Charis.. 9 sub.. JIAYOU JIAYOU!! Hi all,Freddie here,quite a long time since any post,btw here is an update of the swine flu,
SINGAPORE: The Health Ministry (MOH) has sounded the orange alert for the Mexican swine flu pandemic, moving one notch up from yellow the previous day. So far, there are no confirmed cases here.

Singapore is also imposing a home quarantine order on those who have recently travelled to Mexico.

The move comes after the World Health Organisation (WHO) raised its pandemic alert phase from level 4 to level 5 on Thursday.

According to Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan, it is only a matter of time before the Mexican swine flu strikes Southeast Asia and its first case could well be in Singapore – one of the region's most globalised cities.

When that happens, Singapore should not be "shocked into panic or inaction". He said the country must be prepared for a long fight, with a very different type of enemy.

"We must not be trapped into a SARS battle mindset. As I said yesterday, we are fighting a new war. What worked during SARS may not be effective or even necessary this time round," he cautioned.

Mr Khaw also advised hospitals and Singaporeans against going into "overdrive" in their precautionary measures, lest they "exhaust themselves" even before the first wave of swine flu strikes.

MOH has said it would escalate the pandemic alert to red, should the global situation deteriorate.

Under the orange alert, infection control measures will be stepped up further. Temperature screenings and checks for flu-like symptoms will be mandatory at hospitals, and patients will be allowed only one visitor each time.

Hospital staff must also wear full protective gear in all areas with patient contact.

"All of us are participants in this war. We are not just bystanders watching the developments," Mr Khaw said.

MOH is imposing a seven-day home quarantine order on those who have travelled to Mexico in the past week. They will be monitored for symptoms of the H1N1 virus and should symptoms develop, they will be referred to the Communicable Disease Centre (CDC) for further assessment.

The health minister said arrangements would be made for non-residents to put up in chalets or hotels and to undergo phone surveillance for symptoms of swine flu.

If it is found that other countries, besides Mexico, are exporting cases, MOH may also impose similar conditions for travellers returning from those areas.

While Mr Khaw cautioned against complacency, he said Singaporeans should not get unduly stressed over the situation.

"For healthy Singaporeans or those who have not been overseas recently, get on with your life! Go out! Exercise! Bicycle! Brisk walk! Go dancing, whatever! We all know when you're active and have enough sleep, you're at your top form; you're less likely to get flu," he urged.

Of the 22 cases referred for medical assessment, one is still pending lab investigations. The rest have been cleared of swine flu.

MOH said 19 have been tested negative for Influenza A, while two are tested positive for the usual circulating strains of Influenza A.

For more information on Mexican swine flu, members of the public can access MOH's website at www.moh.gov.sg or call its hotline at 1800-333 9999.

Post from Ebel:Well.....now that the term is coming to a close im glad to say that 1E1 is topping well almost everything....we have Mr Fong doing the class proud with his science and geography top in level and our express chinese class also has something to cheer for with absolutely no failures and the lowest being 55(me),only one failure for art and feng jun(i think) topping the level for math and not only in academics in sports too!During the recent sports day for javelin we have an all 1E1 top three and numerous other awards which i cannot remember and hopefully there will be better things to come and i hope someone can ask mr suhaimi for an inter class soccer tournament for the soccer junkies in the class....and up next d and t ppl switching to home econs and vice versa and history next and i hope the class outing will be a success and pls pls pls come for the band's concert if u can!(four more days to holidays)

Ok..........this post is from Ebel.....feels good to blog after a long break.....anyways today was the art exam and everyone(most people anyways) actually could keep quiet for 2 and a half hours drawing and painting and not get bored.....zzzzzzz....me and eugene played scissors papers stone hahaahahaha then skip all the boring stuff after that me and junn yiow went to the bukit timah cc there see them play badminton me and junn yiow joined in and too many funny things happened to be said then me and benny go play bowling until 5+ after that and to those sucke--- i mean ppl in the NDP performance thingy have fun at bedok camp cause those who r excused actually need to do work...even though its english work isnt it a bit too much...i mean after the exams and all........oh well....

Haha!Today the C.I.P so funny..about half the class went. We went to Toh Yi Drive block 13,12 to collect newspapers. The best part was when we brought back the newspapers back to our school. Too bad my phone the pc studio got something wrong :( if not i can put the pictures..Maybe i will try to put it in here someday! When we were at the path to school, me, Kwok Fong, Junn Yiow, Agnes, Shan jing and shambavi they all walked together. There were two pavements at the roadsides, so half walk on the right, half walked on the left. Then every 20m, we will struggle and drop the newspapers, one of the persons is Junn yiow. So bad i was behind him, then i always have to help him. The funniest part was, Junn Yiow dropped the newspapers, than i also drop, than everyone dropped except SJ and Agnes. HAha=D
Anyways, thank God that i changed to C.I.P date from tomorrow to Today. I had so much Fun. I'm also glad that Kwok Fong was my partner:)!
Too many newspapers? Quite. Tomorrow we sure get scolding from Miss Koh cos the back of the class is full of newspapers, she sure say the same thing," If there is a fire, we sure blah blah blah.xD
